you have seen them. A little boy
searching through filthy garbage. A
young girl pleading for some spare
change. In both body and spirit,
 the
19,000 street children and orphans
of Cambodia are among the most
desperate of the poor. Day in and
day out they live with hunger,
severe malnutrition, and disease.
They have no homes, no families, no
education, no healthcare, and,
often, no hope for the future...
Cambodian Orphanage International was created to be the
voice of these children who urgently need our help. We are a
non-profit organization dedicated to changing the way these
children live, eat, and think. Change comes by empowering them –
physically, emotionally, and socially - with food, healthcare,
education, and vocational training.

If you donate

will provide food, clothing, medicine,
education and shelter for

for every day of the month.
Day by day most of street children are
seen commonly working as scavengers, accounting for 46 percent of
the street children!
1. For 18 percent are
beggars.
2. Approximately 9 percent of female are street kids.
3. About 5 percent of male ones are involved in prostitution.
4. About 2% of street children in Cambodia die every day from
hunger or hunger-related causes.
5. The majority of hunger deaths are caused by chronic
malnutrition, sickness, and disease.
The Sponsor a
child programs allows you to do the greatest thing you
have ever done: If you sponsor one street children he/she is no
longer hungry, collecting food from
trashcans and landfills
or beg for food leftovers,
he/she can drink fresh water and get medicine if he/she is sick.
This amount might even prevent him/her from getting HIV in the
future. Moreover, with your daily dollar you will send him/her to
school and give him/her the tools to build his/her own future. You
could be the one who made it all possible for him/her, with less
than a dollar a day.
